Definitions

In these terms and conditions,

• "We/us/our/ours" means the seller, MoMo Chapeaux.
• "You/your/yours" means the buyer/purchaser  
• "Goods" means the goods which we shall supply to you in accordance with the Contract      

 

Methods of payment

Credit and debit cards are accepted as payment, all card payments are handled by Google Wallet and must be made at the time of placing the order. If you prefer, you can pay by cheque, the cheque must be drawn on a UK bank and must be crossed 'A/C payee only'. Your name, address, phone number and card number must be written clearly on the back of the cheque. We will allow 7 working days for your cheque to clear before work starts on your order. In the event that you pay by cheque and your cheque bounces, you shall be liable for all reasonable costs incurred by us as a result. 

Security

Your order is processed by Google Wallet. We do not store any of your financial information in our system.

Currency & prices

All prices shown are in GBP (£ sterling) and include all taxes applicable within the U.K. Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices are correct, occasional errors or other technical problems may result in inaccurate prices being shown. In such cases we are not required to honour incorrect prices. Prices are subject to alteration without notice; however once we have accepted and confirmed an order, the price for that item(s) will not change.  

Duties & taxes

You are responsible for any duties, customs charges and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.  

Shipping

Shipping information and charges are given on the ordering page. These charges are subject to alteration without notice; however once we have accepted and confirmed an order, the shipping charge for that order will not change.  

Damage in transit

While we do our best to pack the Goods securely, we cannot accept any liability for any damage or deterioration in the Goods which occurs, for any reason, while the Goods are in transit to you.

Cancellation

We reserve the right not to accept or to cancel once accepted any order, without penalty. The customer may cancel an order without penalty only before we have accepted it (acceptance of the order makes a contract between us).

Returns

All our hats and headpieces are individually handmade to order. For this reason they cannot be returned unless faulty, damaged or wrong item sent. Should you wish to exchange an item it can be exchanged for another item, or alternatively a piece can be made to order for you instead. Should you wish to exchange an item you must inform us, and return the goods within 7 days of receipt, you are responsible for the postage and safe return of the original goods to us in their original new unworn condition. The replacement item will be sent to you with no extra delivery charges. We will email you to notify when the replacement item has been sent. If the replacement item is a lower price to the original item, the difference will be refunded to you. If the replacement item is a higher price, the difference will be charged to you before the replacement has been despatched. Your statutory rights are not affected.  

Colours & descriptions

Every care has been taken to ensure that all colour representations are portrayed as accurately as possible and that all product descriptions are correct. However, due to differences in monitor and browser settings every computer screen will display colour differently; we cannot guarantee that the colour of the item will be an exact match as seen on your screen.If unsure of a colour we highly recommend requesting colour samples before ordering - for more information please read the Ordering information.  

Retention of title

Under all normal circumstances, goods will be paid for prior to despatch. Neither the ownership of, nor the title in any goods sold by us, will pass from us until such time as we have received cleared payment in full for such goods and any additional charges relating to such goods. Until such time, we reserve the right to recover possession of the relevant goods. General These terms and conditions are subject to alteration by us without notice.

Postage and packing

UK Mainland Only

All orders received from the UK up to the value of £65.00 will be sent by Recorded Delivery at a cost of £4.50.

Orders valued between £65.00 and £200.00 will be sent by Recorded Delivery at a cost of £10.50.

Orders valued over £200.00 will be sent by Recorded Delivery at a cost of £20.50.

A signature is required on receipt of the delivery.

International Deliveries

Please contuct us directly to arrange international deliveries.

Privacy

We do not share or sell customers' contacts details and we take personal privacy very seriously. Contact details added to the mailing list are used purely for keeping you updated with email newsletters and keeping you informed of upcoming events. Customers' address details are used purely for delivery purposes. We do not receive or store any personal financial information whatsoever, all payments are handled independently by Google Wallet.
